J-L Band Boosters are hard at work helping HS band members raise $$ for “D.C.” and keeping the entire band program looking and sounding sharp! Thank you to the boosters for assisting with the cost of additional HS concert and marching uniforms, and honor band entry fees for both HS and MS students. The J-L Band Boosters made a $4000.00 profit on the Wreath and Poinsettia/Cardinal Spirit sale. This is a $500 increase over last year! J YAHOO!!

Special thanks to the many parents who volunteered throughout the Wreath and Poinsettia sale and setting up, greeting, etc. for the Christmas Concert. Our bands are achieving great things because of your support!!

The next band booster meeting will be Monday, April 16th.
Spring concert Silent Auction and the final decisions for the Michigan Adventure Trip will be on the agenda. Parents and friends of the band are always welcome to attend meetings to share ideas. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Lewiston Band room.

Monetary donations and donations of quality used instruments are always greatly appreciated and needed.

BAND INSTRUMENTS NEEDED
The Johannesburg-Lewiston Area Schools Band Program is in need of used instruments for students who are not able to rent/buy their own. Participating in Band is a rewarding learning experience, which teaches not only music but also responsibility and leadership.

Instruments needed include: flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpet/coronets, French Horns, trombones, baritones, and percussion kits. If you have a used instrument that you would like to donate, please contact the
