The set is finished and the auditions are over! Spring is here and love is in the air. Mr. Conn's English class started Romeo and Juliet today! The first day was entertaining. We have some talent here at JLHS!

I chose Mrs. Quay because she always has a sense of humor and even when you are upset, she always has a level head and knows how to cheer you up!
Last week was the annual cupcake bake-off. The foods kitchen gets transformed into a confectioners dream. All of the participates did a fabulous job! The students have to find their own recipes and design the cupcakes from scratch using all food items. Bravo, I'm so proud of you🙌

JLHS was host to the "International Save a Life Tour" presented by the Michigan Department of Transportation Safe Driving. Students received educational information on safe driving and were able to operated an impaired driving simulator as well as a texting and driving simulator. Thanks to JL's School Resource Officer Greg Kates for helping to organize the event.
