3-5 Lewiston Cardinals had a BLAST at Wilderness Valley Farm on Friday! Thanks for the fun!!

🧲 Pushing & Pulling into Science! 🧲 Our 2nd graders in Lewiston have been having a blast exploring how magnets work! Over the past couple of days, students got hands-on experience making objects move, push, and pull using magnetic forces. Science is always more fun when you get to test it out yourself! 💫

Lewiston Cardinals are covering the hallways in artwork! Classroom art and art done with Ms. Curtiss! Happy Fall!

This Friday night, as our football team takes on Manton, we honor our graduating seniors during Senior Recognition. In a special tradition, each senior chose a staff member who made a lasting positive impression during their school years. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to every staff member whose support and dedication helped shape these students along the way.

8th Grade students attended a Science field at the Greenwood Foundation Property this past Thursday. They enjoyed learning about Sea Lampreys as well as the habitats/wildlife at the property.

3rd grade students have been practicing their clay skills, rolling coils, and shaping spheres. They put their new skills to work creating their very own initial plaques. Great job 3rd grade artists.

If only you could smell the sweet aroma of the cookies that are being baked by the Advanced Food students🍪 Good thing you'll be able to sample them this evening at parent teacher conferences! Find them in the high school cafeteria along with the high school teachers. See you there!

Lewiston Family Night on October 12th. was all about "Make and Take Math!" Students had the opportunity to play math games with their families and then take them home to play more! The students received 2 dice, a deck of cards, and directions for LOTS of math fun for at home. Thank you to all Lewiston staff and support staff who stayed to help make this event happen. Go Cardinals!

Lewiston K-2 Cardinals visited the Wilderness Valley Farm in Gaylord on Friday. It was a beautiful day for a trip to the Farm! Thank you to all the PTO chaperones for tagging along to support our teachers and students.

On Monday, Lewiston Cardinals in grades PreK-5 were able to get a visit from the Lewiston Fire Department to talk about Fire Safety and Prevention. They were able to explore a fire truck and an ambulance. Thank you, Assitant Fire Chief Trisha and crew for teaching our Cardinals about Fire Safety and Prevention! 🔥 🚒 🚑 🧑‍🚒 👨‍🚒
