The Cardinal Health Center offers same-day appointments for acute illnesses and provides healthcare services for children and adults in our community. From sports physicals and immunizations to chronic disease management and behavioral health services, we're here to help.

I am honored and humbled to have been sworn in as a member of the AASA Executive Committee. It is a privilege to serve alongside outstanding educational leaders from across the country as we work to strengthen and advance public education for every student.
This week in Washington, D.C., I also had the opportunity to meet with members of legislative teams and advocate for the needs of our nation's public schools. From rural districts like Johannesburg-Lewiston to communities across America, every child deserves access to a high-quality education regardless of their ZIP code.
I am grateful for the opportunity to represent Michigan, Johannesburg-Lewiston Area Schools, advocate for rural schools, and help shape policies that support students, educators, and families.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. I'm excited for the work ahead and proud to continue serving our profession at both the state and national levels.

***Monday, and Tuesday (6/8 & 6/9) hours will remain the same.***
Beginning June 10, 2026, the Community Fitness Center in both buildings and walking track in Johannesburg will be open 5 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday at both buildings.
Please remember to follow all Community Fitness Center guidelines as posted. Let's keep our spaces safe and enjoyable for everyone! 💪

Please join us in welcoming Mr. Dan Serba as the new K-8 Principal at Johannesburg Elementary/Middle School! We are excited for the future under his leadership and look forward to the positive impact he will continue to make on our students, staff, and families.
At the same time, we extend our sincere gratitude to Ms. Nancy Odren for her years of dedicated service to JLAS. Her leadership, commitment, and care for our school community have made a lasting difference.

Thanks to an incredibly generous donation to our district from Twin Lakes Property Owners Association (TLPOA), 2nd graders from both buildings spent the day exploring, learning, and getting hands-on with wildlife at Raven Hill! 🦅🔬
From discovering amazing animal facts to testing our bravery, it was a day full of smiles. A huge shoutout to everyone who made this trip possible—the kids will be talking about this for a long time!
P.S. A special round of applause for Ms. Sehl, who officially won "Bravest Teacher of the Year" by wearing a snake around her neck! 😬😳 Quantifiably cool!
