Johannesburg-Lewiston Area Schools welcomes Mrs. Therese Hansen as our building principal at the Lewiston Elementary! Mrs. Hansen joins our team on an interim basis to support the Lewiston staff and students through the end of the school year. She comes to JL with many years of experience in elementary leadership including 15 years of experience as a principal at South Maple Elementary in Gaylord. She holds a Master’s degree in Special Education Administration in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
Mrs. Hansen enjoys reading, playing pickleball, gardening, kayaking, and spending time with my husband, Kevin, and our two adult sons.

Our high school students completed the first semester on Friday. This group of students in Advanced Foods class were able to have their turn at creating delicious food from the marking period Restaurant project. Photos of their finished food were taken and then added to an authentic background for the appearance of being in their restaurant.

This marking period in Advanced Foods the students created their own restaurants. Today they got the opportunity to create one of their menu items. Their finished plate was photographed then we generated authentic backgrounds to add to the photos. They had fun working on this project!
