The CTE millage is designed to ENHANCE AND EXPAND the operation of area vocational programs in every LOCAL school district and community. Local districts would manage and/or expand their current number of vocational programs, and funds from the millage would flow directly to school districts to operate these programs in partnership with local business and industry partners.
The annual property tax impact of a voter-approved CTE millage would be one mill, equivalent to $1 per $1,000 of taxable value.
More details about the millage, including answers to FAQs, can be found at https://www.cteforcop.org.

Advocating for Our Students!
Today, Superintendent Xenakis-Makowski joined dedicated district leaders from across Michigan to testify before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Education, sharing how the School Aid Budget directly impacts our schools, staff, and—most importantly—our students.
Their voices brought real stories and real needs to Lansing, highlighting that continued investment in public education is essential for student success and the future of our communities.
Thank you, Superintendent Xenakis-Makowski, for standing up and speaking out on behalf of every student in Michigan!
