Reminder - The MS sponsored Carnival will be held on Wednesday, March 12th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. All families are welcome to attend. The cost is $5.00 per person with a Max of $20 per family. Games, prizes and face painting will be available. There will also be a bake sale by donation!

Due to the icy road conditions, JLAS will be closed today, Thursday, March 6. Teacher professional development will be rescheduled to an after school time and transition night activities will be determined later today.

7th grade scientists are learning about genetics. Today they participated in a tasting lab to see if they carry a gene to taste a specific substance. Some couldn't taste anything at all, others had a different experience, as you might be able to tell by the photos. By the way, did you know that some people have a gene that makes cilantro taste like soap? We might try that next.
