Miss H, the middle school success liaison, made an appearance in 6th and 7th grade ELA to introduce herself today! Miss H will teach mini-lessons here and there throughout the year about stress management, how the brain works, and other topics to support our middle school students!
Seniors were invited to attend the sunrise of their last first day of high school. The early risers in the class met at the Hummel's house at 6:15 AM on the first day of school for a beautiful sunrise and breakfast.

Superintendent Mrs. Makowski provided professional development to our teachers today. We are growing together and ready to greet students into a fantastic school year!
The JL football team kicked off the 2024 season at football camp. We moved in on August 11, followed by a midnight practice. We would like to thank Tyson Claeys and Tracy Renkiewicz for speaking to the players on Monday and Tuesday night. The parents collaborated and cooked breakfast and supper for the there days of camp. Thank you parents! A huge shout out to Jackie and Alli Smokevitch for preparing lunch all three days!

**MS Girls' Volleyball Practice will start August 26th @ 5:30-7:30pm** All 7th & 8th grade girls are invited to join! Remember that all athletes need a sports physical before they can practice. Just bring it with you on the first day! After practice, there will be a quick mandatory parent meeting.
Practice/game schedules will be given out on that first day as well, but please plan on Aug. 27th-29th after school until 5:30 in Johannesburg with an activity bus returning to Lewiston like usual.
We are welcoming a new coach to our middle school program, Coach Butterfield, who will be coaching our 8th grade girls this year! We are looking forward to a great season. See everyone the 26th!
