The Band Concert will take place @ 7pm tonight. Concert parking will be at the back of the building by the auditorium. Athletic practices may be held until 6pm, but park in the front so plowing can continue in the back. Fitness Center will be open for community hours, but not the track due to the concert.
Due to weather conditions and several roads in the district not safe for students and staff, Johannesburg-Lewiston Area Schools will be closed today, 12/5. Our second snow day this year. Stay safe, play outside, and help others. A decision will be made regarding tonight's band concert later this afternoon.

Lewiston Kindergarten had their Balloon Parade today!
Big thank you to Montmorency County Sheriffs Department and Deputy Kates for coming out and leading the parade for us!

Congrats to the Varsity Volleyball Team on recently being named Team Academic All-State w a 3.55 team GPA!
Some additional individual awards include Lexi Hogle: Ski Valley All-Conference Honorable Mention & All-Region Team, Mady Peppin: Ski Valley All-Conference & All-Region Dream Team, & Eliza Idalski: Individual Academic All-State
These players were recently named to the Gaylord Herald Times All-Area Team- 1st Team: Mady Peppin, Brittney Fox, & Lexi Hogle, 2nd Team: Lily Crane, & Honorable Mention: Grace Brown & Jaeden Briley
And a special congrats to Mady Peppin for being named All-State Honorable Mention and the Gaylord Herald Times Volleyball Player of the Year!!

Kindergarteners will be working hard all next week to plan and create their own balloons while learning all about the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and how it started!
I know these sweet kids will be THRILLED to show off their balloons once they are completed!
