The 7th Grade Ancient History class has been studying ancient weaponry. Over the past couple of days the class has been building catapults. The team of GraceLynn, Veronica, and and Owen won the overall distance challenge!

JLAS invites parents and community to "Do It for Daniel," a presentation on mental health and suicide awareness, on Wednesday @ 6pm in the auditorium. JLHS Writers’ Club Author Event:
On Nov. 8, 2024, JLHS Writers’ Club members met local wordsmith, Kristy Burmeister. Ms. Burmeister shared her writing journey and experiences as a memoirist, poet, editor, and publisher. By reading her poetry and offering writing prompts, students were inspired to compose their own artistic pieces. Thank you, Ms. Burmeister for supporting our teenage writing community!
