Lewiston Elementary, 5th Grade Teacher, Mrs. Idalski received a Mini-Grant today from the Brush Creek Mill in Hillman. She is very excited to receive this grant that will help support her students in attending a field trip to the Tall Ships in Inland Seas/Sutton's Bay in the spring!



It's going to be an "Incredible" day full of superheroes for March is reading month!

7A built catapults out of popsicle sticks and rubber bands for the end of our unit on Ancient Greece (it was originally invented in Ancient Greece). The winning group was Owen Maxwell, Wyatt Fetrow, and Lily Williams - their catapult launched a marble 67 and a half feet, beating the next closest group by over 20 feet!








While we are awaiting final touches, we are inviting JL families to come tour the new addition in conjunction with HS Transition Night and the MS Carnival. The space will be open to tour on 3/7 from 4:30pm-5:30pm and on 3/13 from 4-5pm. A community open house will occur in the evening when details are more complete.

Our students have the opportunity this week to experience the new addition at JLAS made possible by the community support of the bond in 2020. A community open house is being organized in March. Lewiston Literacy Night was a success! Families learned about Executive Functioning Skills while playing games together. Everyone enjoyed a night of fun! Thank you to all Staff and Lewiston PTO for supporting this event!
